So at this mid of March 2012, i decided to buy a new notebook. replacing my old Acer.
after having discussions with few of my friend, workmate and GF :D. i decided to buy ASUS.
the specs :
Intel i5 2430 2.4Ghz
4GB DDR3, 750GB
NVIDIA GT540M 2GB DDR3
14"
the default specs is quite good, but i decided to expand the RAM to 8GB. i use the Corsair SO-DIMM DDR3 4GB PC10666 - CMSO4GX3M1A1333C9.
the notebook and the RAM i bought it from my college mate. he give me a great price for both of the item. you guys can check it at enterkomputer.com.
overall i was satisfied with this notebook performance, and it looks like it reliable (this is what i need).
the U series line of ASUS product is designed very slim and elegant, with the battery power could work up to 10Hours. because it have a 8cells battery.
the installation of the driver is quite amazed for me. you just have to chooose which driver you want to install, after that the installation will run automatically. if any of the driver installation need to restart your notebook, then it will restart and continue to install the driver all by automatically. so it would be highly recommended by me to turn off your user account password when you installing this driver, so after restarting the notebook you don't have input your user account password :D.
another advantage of the ASUS product is, they have a 2(two) years limited warranty, compared to other product, they just give you 1(one) year warranty.
that's all i have to write about this notebook. later i'll add some more.
